About Us

Paper has a long standing history, beginning with the ancient people of China and continuing till the twenty first century. But despite being invented almost 3000 years ago, paper production became industrialized much later in the 19th century. Earlier to that, hand-made paper was most widely used around the world. With industrialization, a wide variety of paper grades and uses came into existence. Paper making has thus become a science more than an art, and, parallel to it, the charming art of making hand made papers gradually died away. But the story did not end here.

With the increasing popularity of retro influences with today's consumers, handmade paper has gained its importance once again; this time more as an art rather than a science. Unlike machine-made paper, handmade paper cannot be produced at a speed of 45 miles per hour, but it is manually manufactured just like a piece of art- unique in design and made with great personalized care.
